A Guide to California's Deserts

    Most years, we head to the California desert during our cold, often foggy winter. This year our trip will be a little late, the end of March, when we spend a week in Death Valley with our  son and daughter-in-law from Bellingham, WA.

Maybe they'll help you plan your own trip or inspire you to take in the desert for the first time. There are loads of photos, lots of maps, descriptions, history, and storytelling.
