Today, the Los Angeles Times, among other news outlets, reports the removal of the final of four dams on the Klamath River, the result of decades of efforts by tribes, farmers, fishermen, corporations, and politicians to restore the Klamath River and, along with it, the salmon population. The article is so full of uplifting ideas. Hope flows freely, it reads and,

Change, hope, rebuild—they do the soul good.
