Alaska/Canada 2022-9: What's In A Name?

A few thoughts from Doug, on the road in Canada's Saskatchewan Province.

Suppose Maverick (red arrow in pic) is a maverick? Wonder what party s/he represents and what the election is.

Wild Lily, a dirt road about 80 miles south of Saskatoon. Wish I had met her and heard her story.

We have Buena Vista, so guess Bonnie View is not too much of a stretch.

Elbow...perhaps because the river makes a bend?

But Eyebrow--another thought provoking name.

And just one of so many: A house with the roof falling in. What a story it could tell....

        More thoughts as I drive....

  3. Funny places names, eh? How about these from Utah: "Boobs Canyon (Millard County) and Butt Canyon (Garfield County) or Cads Crotch (a ridge in Kane County)"?
