Alaska/Canada 2022-5: More Spectacular Boondocking

Another boondocking find: last night’s site at a gravel bar on the Matanuska River, flowing from the glacier about 25 miles away.  


Today we drove by the glacier. Now on our way to Valdez.

      I did manage to get a bucket of water I was going to pour over my head, silty as it was, to say I’d cooled off in the Matanuska River, but I spilled it on the way back up the bank and didn’t want to tempt fate with more slipping down to the river🏞
